Position Summary
Provide support to loan officers and Loan Processors in all aspects of lending function
Essential Functions

Position responsibilities:
· Provides efficient and courteous customer service, cross-marketing products and services to generate new business for Century Next Bank
· Answer telephone when needed
· Greet Customers when they walk into lending area
· Scan loan documents into Aurora
· Ensure loan packages are complete and according to checklists
· Assists loan review and examiners as needed
· Have a keen knowledge of the Loan Policy
· Participate in community events and enhance customer relationships outside of the bank as needed
· Performs those duties that may be assigned by the supervisor
Essential skills and experience:
· Ability to manage multiple assignments and work under deadline pressures
· Keen attentiveness to detailing and accuracy
· Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, fractions and percentages
· Spreadsheet and word processing/typing
· Efficient at adapting to changes and handling work pressures
· Strong organizational skills
· Excellent speaking, writing and listening skills
Supervisory Responsibility
This position is not responsible for the supervision of other employees.
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, fax machines, email, electronic calendars, scanning devices, calculators, and spreadsheets.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, squat, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. This job may also require the employee to frequently lift at least 50 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position may require occasional evening and weekend work as needed.
Travel
Travel is primarily local during the business day; however, some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education and Experience
Two years of banking experience; Previous loan processing experience preferred but not required. Experience in customer contact and problem resolution, ability to set and achieve goals, results‐driven attitude, strong customer service skills, written and oral communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail, computer skills, and advanced skills with Microsoft Office.
Minimum
Two years of banking experience or two years of counting, receiving, disbursing and balancing money, and executing financial transactions; OR
Equivalent combinations of experience, training and/or education approved by Human Resources
